DebtReliefCenter.org is not a direct debt relief service provider, but serves as a referral service for third-party debt relief providers ("Provider") who offer a free debt relief analysis and savings estimate, solely at the visitor's request, and for your convenience. The provision of access to a Provider does not signify an endorsement by DebtReliefCenter.org of the Provider's web site or the services offered by that Provider. DebtReliefCenter.org has no control over the services being rendered, or access to any agreement you may enter into with a Provider, and thus cannot be responsible for Provider services rendered. Furthermore, if you decide to use the services of a Provider, or if you decide to purchase a product from a Provider, any transaction between you and that Provider (including any agreement governing such a transaction) will be strictly between you and the Provider (See special new FTC consumer protection provisions). DebtReliefCenter.org has no control over the Provider's obligations to you, and makes no representations or warranties with respect to the Provider's performance. By using this site, you agree that DebtReliefCenter.org is not responsible or liable for the satisfactory or unsatisfactory performance of any provider you may enter into an agreement with, any information you provide to a provider, a provider's compliance with law, or a provider's misuse of your information.

Disclosure

The Debt Relief Center, does not provide direct debt relief services. We do provide information regarding various debt relief options as well as referrals and connections to debt relief companies. These companies specialize in specific debt relief categories, including debt management plans through credit card counseling, debt consolidation, debt settlement, debt negotiation, and debt mediation. The Debt Relief Center collects specific information regarding your financial and/or debt situation in order to provide direct referrals to various debt relief options and companies

While various debt relief options, depending on your circumstances, may help to lower your interest rates, reduce your overall debt significantly, and help you become debt free, the Debt Relief Center does not guarantee that your debts will be lowered by a specific amount or percentage or that you will be debt-free within a specific period of time. Regarding available debt relief options, it is important to note that no one debt relief solution is right for everyone. Furthermore, prior to deciding if a particular debt relief option will benefit you, it is recommended that you seek the advice of a financial or legal professional to properly understand all the benefits of debt relief as well as the short and long-term effects of individual debt relief options on personal credit, credit scores, or taxes. In addition, it is important to note that, effective October 27, 2010, the Federal Trade Commission has issued an enforcement policy statement on a new FTC rule that protects consumers by barring "non-attorney based" debt relief firms from collecting up-front fees before debts have been settled or otherwise resolved. Unless the debt relief firm that you are working with is an "attorney-based" debt relief firm, no upfront fees may be collected. This is a pro-consumer measure for individuals in debt considering the services of a debt relief company. In addition, debt relief companies are now required to disclose fundamental aspects of their services including how long it will take for the consumer to get debt relief results, how much services will cost, the negative consequences that could result from using debt relief services, and key information about dedicated accounts, if they are used as savings.

The Debt Relief Center does not assume consumer debt, make monthly payments to creditors or provide tax, bankruptcy, accounting or legal advice, or credit repair programs or services.
