CouponMom Shares Tips On How To Get The Most Out Of Bargains
A number of Americans are looking for unique debt relief strategies to get their credit balances in order and stay on budget.
In a new Money Magazine report, CouponMom.com's Stephanie Nelson offered up some tips to help cash-strapped consumers save money when shopping.
Nelson says consumers should look at a variety of sources to obtain money-saving coupons. While the Sunday paper may be a large source of local grocery coupons, there are numerous discount websites that post functioning coupon codes for various retailers. She also says it may be wise to get on coupon mailing lists for companies they shop at often.
After aggregating a number of coupons, matching them with in-store or online sales can enable a consumer to save even more money on his or her purchases. Although it may be tempting to use a coupon as soon as it arrives in the mail, Nelson recommends only using them in conjunction with a sale.
Individuals who are looking for other methods to save cash and improve their finances may want to establish a sound and realistic plan for obtaining credit card debt relief. By responsibly paying down balances each month, consumers can limit the amount of money they pay on interest, and use those savings to pay down other lines of credit.
