Consumers Faith In Obama Falters
A poll recently released by Harris Interactive showed an increasing amount of Americans are losing confidence in President Barack Obama's ability to help the United States exit the currently poor economic situation it is mired in.
Only 27 percent of Americans thought positively of the president when it came to the economy, a drop of 5 percentage points from last month's poll. Another 26 percent of Americans told pollsters they expected the economy to improve in the next 12 months, while 33 percent of Americans thought it would decline.
More than 90 percent of Republicans did not have confidence in Obama to turn around the economy, while close to 75 percent of Independents shared this view. Less than 60 percent of Democrats agreed with the notion.
Due to the difficult economy, many consumers struggle to pay off bills. Americans should keep in mind that credit card debt can add up if they make payments on bills with their card. Other payment ideas may be smart idea in order to keep debt low.
New government regulations in place for consumers in need of debt relief for credit cards and other unsecured debts.
